Cancellation & Refund Policy
We want you to be confident when you book with SHAH JEWELLERS LTD. This policy sets out how cancellations and refunds are handled.
1. FREE Consultation
Our first design consultation is completely free of charge. There is no cancellation fee if you need to reschedule or cancel this appointment.
2. Standard Services (Battery, Cleaning, Fitting)
- Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- 50% refund if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice.
- If we have already begun the work, a partial refund may be issued based on the work completed.
3. Bespoke & Sourcing Orders
- You may cancel and receive a full refund within 48 hours of placing a deposit, provided work or sourcing has not commenced.
- Once work or sourcing has begun, you are entitled to a partial refund of the deposit minus costs already incurred.
- If the item has been specially ordered or customised to your specification, cancellations after completion are not eligible for a refund.
4. Repairs & Restoration
- Cancellations before work begins: full refund of any deposit.
- If work is partially completed: partial refund based on labour and materials used.
- If work is complete: no refund, but the 12-month workmanship guarantee applies.
5. Rescheduling
You may reschedule any appointment once without penalty by giving us at least 12 hours' notice. Further rescheduling may be subject to a £10 administration fee.
6. How to Request a Refund
To cancel or request a refund, please contact us by email at shah.jewellers@outlook.com or by phone at 07711 139787. Please include your name, appointment date, and service details. We aim to process refunds within 5-7 working days.
7. Exceptions
Gift cards and personalised engraving services that have already been carried out are non-refundable. Items damaged due to customer misuse after collection are not covered.
